Ever since the birth of time and record,
A monumental search persists in man,
But lost in life is neigh afforded,
And such substance of small demand,
The plea I speak of rests in purpose,
A common thought though seldom found,
There are varied ways to point the compass,
Internal guides endure, complete, profound;
We assert the charge to discover,
Find this most significant existence,
A vision lying plainly undercover,
Though frequently encounters resistance;
For in the end when life is expired,
You’ll find that purpose lives required.
