Forewarned with subtle, wistful gazes —
tore you, my mental warning hazes.
Forlorn inside, the contempt to hide;
bore to my sad attempts — I’ve lied.
Though suffered through with such distress,
I know it’s you that breeds duress.
Is my warning felt without knowing —
this honest plea, dealt throughout showing?
I know I loved what would’ve been peace,
though you’ve shoved wisdom away; it’s ceased.
