Has it ever bled? Or dreaded the thought of becoming a dead end?
To me it’s wrought in red, and hands wet from the shedding of
fear that is seared from a loss of innocence, fenced from the
sick causes of sentiments we rinsed to represent the masses.
But in masking the facts, the crass reality attacks, and racks
flat like a horse that’s beaten dead with the force,
unable to cite a single source.
The only course is reversing the storm and reinforcing the norm
that, I fear, is too dense to accept a simple form — like water.
Don’t you see that it bleeds? That it can run like yours?
Crawling sick and speaking blindly, falling down on all fours.
For your info: given sight into my flow will show you my intent —
that these words are spent in vain on government that sent,
and sends, its people screaming in the dark, feeding us to hungry sharks.
But do we feed ourselves? The answer resounds as a no.
Humans show they know no restraint when given a tainted
culture, faintly glowing from the smoke and only growing
to cut and choke our moral standards to the ground.
So let the voices all resound, so no protests can be found.
Defend your freedom with your life — what is a life without freedom?
If being freed means to be led in atrocities unneeded for freedom,
redefining ourselves is meaningless and consciously depleted.
“Treat others how you want to be treated” are the words I was told
could fix the world in a single day — so tell me now that you fold!?
I’m sick and tired of the endless repeating clichés
about political correctness — am I speaking to get paid?
I didn’t think so. I vote, though, and you should know that I know
that words invented by politicians melt so much like a summer snow.
“Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean what I said; I didn’t see her when she
was crawling naked up into my bed.
I know my cred has been hurt, but we can all get through this“ —
key words for “oops, I was caught; now forget and dismiss it.”
